The Sheep Shed WNE is a combination of two craft people nestled in the mountains of south central Vermont. The Sheep Shed represents the work of Kathy Martin, bear maker. WNE represents Worn New England the the craft of Jim Martin , furniture maker.

My studio is crowded with an assortment of fabrics and accessories to create one of a kind collectible teddy bears. I use distressed acrylic fur, wool and felt. You can always find bears or hares sitting around waiting for a outfit or a new home. This past year I have started a line of needle felted bears and hares, warm and soft looking.

Jimmy’s workshop is across the bridge in our large barn. There he has all the tools of the trade to create one of a kind pieces for peoples homes. These pieces are usually done

In consultation with the customer to create the perfect piece to fit in their home.

We have been working at out craft for over 25 years and the last ten have been here in Vermont. Long winters to create before fishing season comes.
